Valeria
Valeria Ruiz is the creator of Miss Vale®, an educational project that brings Spanish to young children and their families through music, play, and meaningful interaction.
Born in San Diego and raised between Mexico and the United States, Valeria grew up between two languages and two cultures—an experience that helps her connect with many bilingual families today.
After becoming a mom, she experienced firsthand the challenges of raising children in a bilingual home in the United States. That journey inspired her to create content that helps families keep Spanish present in everyday life, giving young children natural and meaningful exposure to the language from an early age.
Every video is thoughtfully designed to encourage participation, support early language development, and foster a positive connection with Spanish—all in a way that is fun and developmentally appropriate for young children.
Fernanda
Fernanda is a bilingual teacher with more than 15 years of experience in education, supporting children and families in bilingual learning environments.
Born in the United States and raised in Mexico, she has dedicated her career to helping young children develop language during their earliest years. As part of the Miss Vale® team, she brings her educational expertise to create content that is clear, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for every stage of early childhood.
As a mother of two daughters, Fernanda understands the value of exposing children to Spanish naturally from an early age. Her mission is to help families incorporate Spanish into their everyday lives through play, music, and meaningful experiences that strengthen both learning and family connection.

I love learning and discovering new things with Miss Vale®. My favorite question is, "¿Qué es eso?" (What's that?) because I always want to learn a little more.
But what I love most is sharing fun moments with you—playing, singing, and exploring the world together!
